The paper considers the system of synchronization of positions of small base spatially coherent MIMO radar system based on surveillance radars with mechanical rotation. The peculiarity of the work is the use of existing monostatic radars as elements of the MIMO radar system. The analysis of existing methods of synchronization of spatially spaced MIMO radar systems is carried out. Requirements for the accuracy of synchronization of spatially spaced radars of very-high frequency and ultra-high frequency band are formulated. The ways of time and frequency synchronization of MIMO radar system positions are determined. The parameters of the MIMO radar systems are calculated using mathematical models.
