This paper proposes a new transmission line structure that can increase its electrical length, suitable for configuring series fed array antennas. The transmission line is composed of parallel lines printed on a dielectric substrate and capacitors are loaded inside the lines. The effectiveness of proposed transmission line in increasing the electrical length and reducing the sidelobe in the radiation pattern of a series-fed dipole array with a deep main beam tilt are evaluated by full-wave analysis.
