Hygroscopic growth of sub-micrometer aerosol particles were measured in Singapore during a first phase of a local experimental campaign. Such a measurement campaign was conducted in order to understand the impact that humidity has on the local aerosol sources. Total scattering and backseat-tering experiments were carried out by using two-collocated 3-wavelength integrating nephelometers. Results show a consistent particle growth via the retrieved scattering Angstrom number. A local particle growth factor was constructed from these scattering measurements.
