Rapid growth in the The interconnection of renewable sources to the traditional grid for developing sustainable environment and that of minimising the power loss required as strong assessment of solar photovoltaic system before its interconnection to the traditional grid. two main factors which affect the performance of Solar photovoltaic Plant are solar irradiance and temperature which again directly or indirectly depends upon the greenhouse content of the gas present in environment. because of the intermittent nature of the factors affecting performance of solar PV plant hence forecasting the solar power is a very difficult task. this paper investigate A comparative analysis of solar power forecasting using adaptive neural network and decision tree. the system has been investigated through matlab simulink model for Bhubaneswar in the state of Odisha, where the real time data and experimental setup has been conducted at NRRI, CUTTACK.
