A concentrated solar plant pre-feasibility study has been carried out in the present work to investigate its possible gradual impact on the power system restructuring process. A software based simulation study on optimization of concentrated solar plant and field level survey has been conducted for two different locations in Dhaka, Bangladesh for 1, 50 and 100 Megawatt power generation conditions. Our result indicates that small scale power generation can be a comparably cheaper solution. Integrating these power plants into the national grid can prove economically viable, while also addressing space limitations and fostering innovation in renewable energy solutions.
