In this paper, the influence of the structural parameters of the projectile on its dynamic characteristics when it penetrates the target plate at high speed is studied. Through theoretical analysis of the dynamic equation of the projectile penetrating the target plate, the overload characteristics of the projectile penetrating the target with different structural parameters are numerically simulated and analyzed using the ANSYS computer modeling and the appropriate grid model and calculation model. The simulation results show that the overload peak value of the missile body decreases with the increase of the length diameter ratio of the missile body and the shape coefficient of the warhead, and the shape coefficient of the warhead also has an impact on the arrival time and duration of the overload peak value. The overload peak value of the missile body can be reduced by increasing the length diameter ratio of the missile body and the shape coefficient of the warhead. The research results can provide a reference for the damage effectiveness evaluation of the structural design of high-speed missile body.
