Electrostatic Precipitators are a solution to avoid the emission of pollutant particles but this technology requires a pulsed power supply of tens of KV. This paper describes the analysis and experimental results of a Parallel Resonant Converter operated at fixed switching frequency generating the pulsed output, using a variable inductor.
