The changing roles of energy markets can lead to new solutions. In this paper this problem is approached in a different way, whether it's possible to involve the consumers into the power control with different financial incentives. To create a demand response analysis, we are using the energy consuming data of a Hungarian industrial companies. It's important to note that with using demand side management the security of power supply and the energy efficiency can be improved, thus the costs can be reduced. The industrial companies used to trade with greater quantity of energy, so they're handled separately in the electricity market. This is why we are dealing with them in this paper. Our goal is the determine, when and partly how is it possible to involve the industrial consumers in demand response programs.
