We demonstrate lasing in WSe 2 -MoSe 2 heterostructure integrated in a silicon nitride grating cavity. Signatures of lasing include sharp increase in spatial coherence and super-linear increase in the emission intensity as photon number increases above unity. © 2019 The Author(s)
