This paper reports results on investigations of a-Se detectors for imaging under radiotherapy environment. The study emphasizes those aspects that are important to imaging applications in radiotherapy environment including sensitivity of the detector for megavoltage X-rays, ghosting and lagging under high dose exposures, recovery of the detectors from high dose exposure and dark current.
