A system partition method considering the spatiotemporal characteristics of dynamic frequency is proposed in this paper. The partition method can reflect the difference in the spatial distribution of system frequency can be obtained by using sample distance as the basis for partition clustering, and the frequency support weakness of the power grid can be quickly obtained by analyzing the frequency characteristics of the center points in each partition. Thus the system monitoring data demand may significantly reduce, since there is no need for comprehensive scanning of the frequency data of each node in the system.
