The localization applications in the transport sector have increased the interest in the scientific community, especially when autonomous vehicles have been introduced in the market and in our lives. According to the High integrity EGNSS Layer for Multimodal Eco-friendly Transportation (HELMET) project, the possibility to build a high integrity and precision localization system is crucial in the automotive sector, as well the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and rail. The most important benefit is related to the safety of passengers. Innovative business models can represent other benefits of the HELMET solution. The paper analyzes these innovative business models with a combined approach, considering the automotive, UAV, and rail sectors.
