This paper presents a novel hybrid approach to simulating RF and microwave circuits, as well as antennas and arrays, which may be mounted on complex platforms. We focus on developing CEM modeling techniques in the context of 5G and beyond. We describe how the proposed approach is incorporated in an existing CEM code, and present numerical results which demonstrate the enhancement of the computational efficiency of the embellished code.
