The energy industry in Russia and abroad is changing and moving to a new organisational and technological structure, one of the critical concepts of which is the transition to distributed energy. The tendency to create local intellectual power systems (LIPS) based on distributed generation of up to 25 MW and their integration with regional power systems is becoming evident. Based on a mini-CHP "Berezovaya" with a capacity of 10 MW, the first communal LIPS was created, providing heat and power supply to consumers in a large microdistrict of the Novosibirsk. In 2021, the integration of these LIPS with the regional power system was carried out. The report shows the main effects, the achievement of which is ensured by the integration of LIPS, including an increase in the availability, uninterrupted power supply and investment attractiveness of a distributed energy project.
