This study mainly discusses how the artificial lights can affect the plant growth and how it can play a key role in plants metabolism, starting by clarifying the relationship between light and plant growth, the replacement of natural light, it's important to understanding the effect of different wavelengths and different colors on plants and that was explained in our research, our methodology is to do an experiment on plants are native to UAE, by choosing light-emitting diode (LED) strips in red, blue and white colors as the main source of artificial lighting for the native plants we chose. For using them in indoor farms, chambers and plantation, these local Emirati plants were used in medicinal treatments so that in the future we know how to preserve these plants in a healthier environment and proper conditions. The experiment passed through three stages: we planted the seeds, the plant was prepared for two months to receive it at the study site, and after about a month and a half, the plant was returned to the laboratory, where measurements were taken on it to analyze the data and know the effects and changes that occurred. In conclusion, the results show that all plants can live under different wavelengths and all grow at different rates, but the white color was more effective than the other colors of the lamps.
