This work presents medicine powder inspection by image processing techniques using RGB camera acquisition. The light intensity in the environment and the angle of incident light make judgment difficult. The defect particles are buried in the medicine powder making detection impossible to clearly distinguish. Several images are applied to obtain the size and location of foreign matter inside the medicine bottle by the image operators of machine vision and from the equipment design to image acquisition.
