Developing a high proportion of renewable energy is the trend of future power system development. The evaluation deviation of traditional static voltage stability assessment increases due to the fluctuation of renewable energy sources and the impact of the dynamic characteristics of inverters. This paper aims to propose a new method which can reliably evaluate the static voltage stability of distribution grids with massive inverter interfaced DGs. The simulation results show that the proposed method is more accurate than traditional methods. In addition, it shows that the control coefficient of inverters has a significant impact on the static voltage stability of the system.
