To ensure the stable operation of the ship’s power system, the most effective and direct method is to ensure the stability of the ship’s power grid voltage and frequency. The excitation control system of the synchronous generator determines the voltage stability and reactive power output, and the prime mover speed control system determines the frequency stability and active power output. Based on Matlab/Simulink, this paper establishes a model of ship power generation unit and a shipboard zonal distribution power system. Finally, the common working conditions and faults in ships are simulated. The results show the validity of the model. Provides a basis for studying the control of power generation units and the faults of the distribution network.
