In this letter, a 1x4 near-field RFID reader array antenna with artificial transmission line is proposed. The array antenna is composed of two pairs of antenna units and a reflective aluminum plate, excited by a power division network. Compared with the previous antennas, the proposed antenna features low profile, and a good miniaturization with the artificial transmission line by bending inductance and inter digital capacitance.
