Hybrid precoding (HPC) can significantly reduce the hardware cost of the massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system. However, the beam squint cannot be ignored for a wideband MIMO system. In this letter, we design an HPC algorithm to mitigate the beam squint in a wideband system. The alternative minimization framework is used to design the analog precoding with a constant modulus constraint. With this designed analog precoder, the digital precoder is designed via singular value decomposition. Numerical simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms the compared existing beam squint mitigation algorithms for a wideband system.
