In an aging society, the health of the elderly must be prioritized. In particular, medication safety is critical to the overall health care system. Thus, combining machine learning and data analysis to provide efficient services is an important subject. Therefore, this study aims to develop a pharmaceutical management information system for data analysis and visualization operations by combining pharmaceutical services and information technology. Various smart health care management indicators are integrated, too, including reminders for medication shortage management, clinical side effects and abnormal events, and aspects of patient service such as waiting time for medications to achieve monitoring goals through online real-time warnings. Graphical management information allows easier decision-making. In addition, management information regarding pharmaceutical events is updated in real time and accessed via mobile devices in the proposed system.
