An InP-based coherent receiver PIC with waveguide PDs demonstrates 80-GHz bandwidth and high responsivity of 0.156 A/W at a wavelength of 1.55 μm. A coherent receiver module with PICs and TIAs performs sufficient characteristics for 128-GBaud transmission.
