Optical system of spectral imaging device operating in visible and short-wave infrared range (SWIR) is designed. The developed device is based on the dual-spectrum acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF) with two piezoelectric transducers, each working in one of the spectral ranges: visible (450 - 900 nm) or SWIR (900–1700 nm). Different types of the optical aberrations arising in both spectral ranges are analyzed. Optical system is optimized to minimize these aberrations. The optical characteristics of the system are discussed.
