In this paper, we propose an active fault-tolerant control scheme for voltage regulation in DC islanded microgrids subjected to sensor fault. Firstly, a state observer designed by the static output feedback technique is introduced to estimate the uncorrupted states of voltage and current. Then, an observer based state feedback controller is proposed to guarantee the stability of voltage regulation under sensor fault. Simulation studies are carried out to evaluate the performance of the proposed fault-tolerant control scheme. Simulation results show that our proposed control strategy can significantly improve the reliability of the DC microgrid systems.
