A mathematical model, that provides an assessment of the influence of the parameters of the chopper, photodiodes and synchronous amplifier on the error and the dynamic range of the measurements during the electro-optical gating, has been developed. An embodiment of an electrooptical stroboscopic measuring system is described. The parameters of the electrical signals recorded using a balanced detector have been calculated. Simulation results have been obtained in the form of the corresponding values of the random error and the dynamic range of the measurements of the femtosecond laser pulses shape. The signal processing methods have been determined that the sensitivity of an electro-optical stroboscopic measuring system is increased.
