There has been substantial advancement over the last decade in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) development because of their surprising capabilities and numerous applications in the robotics field which includes disaster assistance, search and rescue operations, data, and image acquisition of affected areas, and many more. This study’s primary aim is to give an overview of the UAV quadrotor system. In this paper, the detailed modeling, effects, drawbacks, and benefits of different control algorithms have been identified based on results and observations made by various researchers. The research paper provides an easy comparison of different applied control algorithms.
