Sensitivity analysis is an important part of the design process and facilitates critical steps such as optimization, design centering and yield analysis. X-parameters are a recently proposed modeling and design tool for RF circuits. In this paper we propose a closed form method for evaluating the sensitivity of X-parameters with respect to linear circuit components. The proposed method is evaluated in comparison to brute force perturbation in terms of accuracy and computational cost.
