A compact antenna sensor is designed and developed for the prediction and detection of glucose levels in the blood samples. A human finger phantom consisting of various layers viz; skin layer, bone, blood and fat is devised using simulation environment. The proposed antenna sensor is shown to give variation in frequencies with a peak shift of 6 MHz for each step of glucose variation. The frequency shifts obtained in the designed experiment mapped to the glucose levels in blood samples. The performance of the sensor is analyzed for different locations of real human finger and the resulting resonant frequencies are measured to verify the sensor's performance in real-time scenario.
