The paper depicts the in-depth review of laser surface texturing on engineering materials considering its application in the field of biomedical applications. A sufficient literature survey has been done and the important aspects have been critically reviewed. The effect of laser surface texturing on various parameters of the biomedical application has been reviewed and presented in the concise form. The review suggested that laser surface texturing has a significant influence on the engineering materials in terms of biomedical application.
