To better test the FTU in distribution automation system, this paper designs the upper monitor software for testing the security packets based on IEC104. The article adopts the asynchronous communication to optimize the packet process method and solves the packet disorder, packet loss and retransmission problem which provides ideas for the design of security test system for power distribution terminal equipment.
