This paper proposes a novel zero current detector (ZCD) for single-inductor double-output (SIDO) DC-DC converter which works in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM). The proposed ZCD circuit can accurately acquires inductor voltage and output voltage, and deal with these voltage signals to implement a high speed and high precision controller to avoid reverse current. The test chip was simulated by 110nm CMOS process with input voltage of 0.8V to 1.5V. Simulation results demonstrate a high efficiency of 88.5% at input voltage of 1.5V.
