In the dynamic detection of the separated bulk matter in scattered material conveying systems, the impact of the bulk matter is a kind of random dynamic interference and impairs the measurement accuracy severely. An impact model of the bulk matter based on the momentum theory is found, and an adaptive filtering method is put forward to restrain the instantaneous impact. Finally, the real weight of the bulk matter can gradually be calculated by means of real-time impact discrimination. A practical application shows that the method greatly enhanced the stability and accuracy of the bulk matter detection.
