Axial flux machines are typically analyzed by the 3-D finite element method. To solve the time-consuming issue, this paper proposes a nonlinear dynamic equivalent magnetic network model. The proposed model is able to account for non-linear magnetic saturation and calculate the flux linkage and torque under diverse loads during rotation. After verification, the proposed model achieves satisfactory precision and a computation speed much faster than the typical one.
