Based on the TPACK theoretical framework, this study used the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to construct an evaluation index system to explore the current situation of the teaching ability of financial literacy education of primary and secondary school teachers in Guangxi through the opinions of 10 experts. The results of AHP were consistent, and the importance of composite factor indicators (TPACK, TPK, TCK, PCK) was higher than that of core factor indicators (PK, TK, CK). The results of reliability and validity tests showed that the scale has good reliability and validity. A total of 1,022 primary and secondary school teachers in Guangxi were randomly selected for investigation. The results showed that the average of male teachers was higher than that of female teachers for the dimensions of CK, PK, TK, PCK, TCK and TPK; the average of urban teachers in seven dimensions was higher than that of county teachers; the teachers with less teaching experience performed better than those with more than 10 years of teaching experience; the performance of primary school teachers was better than that of junior high school teachers; and the better the school ICT teaching equipment, the better the teachers' performance on the indicators. The results of this study can provide a good reference for future empirical research.
