In this paper, asymmetric operation of the 3-phase coupled buck-boost converter is analyzed. The form and solution process of the asymmetric operation are complicate, but the solution can be expressed and calculated in a simple form. By using parallel feedforward control, the dynamic performance of 3-phase coupled buck-boost converter can be improved obviously. Accuracy and effectiveness of the analysis and calculation are verified with the results of simulation and experiments.
