In this paper, a hybrid structure of Huygens’ metasurface and low radar cross section checkerboard metasurface integrated on the same surface is proposed. The structure consists of a layer of F4B dielectric substrate and two layers of metal pattern. This structure and band-pass FSS unit cell constitute a low scattering focusing hybrid structure. Compared with the traditional absorption–transmission-integrated metasurfaces, this structure significantly reduces the profile thickness. The structure and a horn antenna constitute a focusing lens antenna which can reduce the backward RCS outside the passband. The antenna gain is enhanced obviously in the transmission band and backward RCS is reduced in high frequency band outside the passband.
