Microelectronics is one of the most rapidly developing science. In our digital world, it represents the ground of the e-economy and e-society. Therefore, continuous training is crucial. New partnership between education and work to address the need of synergy between the education and industry, to foster the development of competencies, technological and soft skills for the new jobs in microelectronics. The UNED, as a distance educational institution, is extensively involved in the development of e-tools. This can be extended to the provision of remote experimentation scenarios for scientific topics. This paper describes a new approach to implement microelectronics laboratory experiences within VISIR remote laboratory.
