This article analyzes the integration of advanced technologies in manufacturing processes, known as Industry 4.0, and how organizations can be prepared to implement these technologies. The study aims to examine the drivers that lead organizations to adopt Industry 4.0 and identify how these technologies affect the preparation of companies for their adoption. The study used a questionnaire survey method to collect data and analyzed them to determine correlations in the proposed model. The results suggest that companies prioritizing Industry 4.0 drivers are more likely to adopt information technologies successfully. The findings demonstrate a direct relationship between adopting information technology and readiness organizations for Industry 4.0. The study concludes that Industry 4.0 technologies provide the necessary tools and capabilities for companies to be prepared for Industry 4.0, while preparation for Industry 4.0 is a prerequisite for companies to effectively use and benefit from Industry 4.0 technologies.
