This paper investigates the band gap (BG) properties of a new cement-based piezoelectric composite material periodic structure. The dispersion curve and frequency response curve are discussed in detail. The infinite period model was used for parametric study, and the effects of different factors are evaluated, such as geometric, material parameters. Numerical results indicate that lattice constant, density of tungsten and cement-based piezoelectric material have a greater impact on the band gap (BG), yet the rotation angle has a smaller impact. Through the analysis of finite period, the attenuation decays quickly when the period numbers increase.
