Most renewable energy systems now have output voltages ranging between 20 and 40 V DC. Boost of voltage is necessary to connect circuit to a 400V bus. DC-DC boost converters are commonly used in numerous applications that use low-quality electrical power sources. Power electronics interfaces are required for the reliable and efficient use of these sources. Step up of voltage can be improved by employing a linked inductor. The clamp circuit recycles the energy deposited in the connected inductor. As a result, the primary switch's voltage stress is minimized. The switch can be used in conjunction with low drain to source resistance resulting in minimal conduction loss and less diode reverse recovery difficulties. A voltage multiplier cell can also be used to increase voltage gain. In this work, PSIM 9.0 program is used to explain and perform the operating principle, steady-state analysis, and simulation.
