The scattering matrix is a key model for multiple input and multiple output radar. In this work, we propose a fast method for the calculation of scattering matrix in multiple input and multiple output radar. The calculation of bi-static radar cross section of the target is accelerated using reduced basis method, which can reduce the number of basis functions in solving the scattering field of different incident wave using method of moment. Numerical examples validate such method’s efficiency and accuracy.
