We report the application of frequency comb-calibrated laser heterodyne radiometry to measure an atmospheric CO 2 transition near 1572.33 nm. With long-term averaging, we demonstrate frequency precision of ~200 kHz, and relative uncertainty in the integrated absorbance of ~0.1%.
