Image processing performance is important in the laser beam alignment of high power laser facilities. This paper deals with the reference computation of the TSF (Transport Spacial Filter) image and the CSF (Cavity Spacial Filter) image which are used in the laser beam alignment of one main amplifier. The reference computation algorithms for processing TSF image and CSF image are presented. Firstly, OpenCV functions are used to implement the algorithms. Then GPU acceleration is used to improve the image processing performance. The GPU acceleration is implemented by built-in OpenCV GPU module functions written with CUDA support. Experimental results show that the time consumption using GPU acceleration can be reduced significantly.
