In order to realize the low-frequency wide dynamic range test in different environments, a new low-frequency test system based on the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with tethered antenna is proposed in the paper. The system consists of the transmitting terminal which mainly uses the UAV with tethered antenna and the receiving terminal which mainly uses the loop antenna. The test frequencies can range from 500 kHz to 20 MHz with a wide dynamic range which is more than 120 dB at a distance of 100 meters. In addition, under the condition of no signal communication, the system can be tested automatically according to the automatic test software. The system proposed in the paper can be used to test the shielding effectiveness of shield and attenuation of low-frequency signal with different distances in different environments.
