This research utilizes Logistic discriminant analysis and proportional odds model to analyze four symptoms of chronic gastritis patient: Belch, the body is tired and weak (weakness), stomachache (ache) and the bloated state of stomach (stomach bloated) severity with sex, age is related, and three syndromes, incoordination between liver and stomach (INCRD), deficiency of spleen and stomach (DEFSS), dampness-heat of spleen and stomach (DAMPH). The result presents both belch and weakness are related with syndromes. The results indicates that the odds ratio of belch severity 1 is about 2.596 fold for DEFSS compared to DAMPH patient.
