This work brings a comparative study of the main techniques of power sharing for microgrids operating in the autonomous mode. The techniques considered here are the droop control for inductive and resistive lines and the derivative voltage droop. A set of figures of merit is defined in order to perform a helpful and reliable comparison. Also, it is considered a simple three-phase microgrid with two converters and loads where is evaluated the influence of the microgrid line impedances and the power sharing techniques. The simulation results bring valuable insights regarding the steady state performance of the evaluated power sharing techniques.
