Printing machine bearing sleeve assembly is a typical axle hole assembly operation and one of the most challenging problems in printing equipment manufacturing. Currently, China mainly relies on manual assembly, which is inefficient and harms workers' health. It is one of the biggest bottlenecks restricting printing equipment manufacturing automation. In order to solve this problem, a multi-information fusion printing machine assembly robot is proposed. Its accurate measurement and accurate model are the basis for successful assembly. Therefore, error analysis and calibration of laser range-finders are the key factors to ensure accurate assembly. Based on the mechanical relationship between the probing measuring tool and the 6-DOF moving platform, this paper proposes the error analysis and calibration method of laser range-finders to reduce the error in the assembly process and lay the foundation for the accurate control of axle hole assembly.
