The design and operation of an automated system to monitor bending and coordinate fluid displacement in a flexible patch antenna is discussed. This includes the impact of mixing nano-scale particles into the fluid for electromagnetic operations on the flow rate and ability of the fluidic system to regulate the temperature of the antenna and surrounding substrate. Two variations of a system to automate this behavior are discussed.
