Simulation systems in the medical field for training has become common in e-learning. Medical surgeons, under training, use such simulation systems to enhance their skills in surgery and to learn the complex procedure of surgery. Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) is a type of heart surgery commonly known as bypass surgery. CABG surgery is done through different ways. Many similar systems are developed in the past which are easily available online but they lag in providing all the functionalities required for a cardiac student. In this paper, our contribution is threefold. Firstly, we present a simulation system for cardiac students for CABG simulated surgery. The proposed system is an e-learning environment and provides 3D heart model which reveals the structure of the heart. Using the e-learning environment, cardiac student can learn the CABG surgery in a monitored simulated environment. Secondly, in the proposed system, the cardiac professor and the student can communicate and can get their skills evaluated. Cardiac professor assesses the cardiac students by assigning the CABG surgery assignments. The assessment system is based on Unity 3D and integrated with the android application. Lastly, to evaluate the user friendliness and effectiveness of the proposed CABG simulated surgery, a survey questionnaire is conducted. The results show that the proposed system is an emerging and an interactive e-learning system for CABG anatomy.
