Automotive near-field antenna measurement ranges face certain limitations in combination with conventional transformation methods. These limitations can be successfully overcome by advanced post-processing methods. Several tests were conducted to verify the feasibility of the translated spherical wave expansion for automotive antenna measurements. These measurements were compared to standard transformation algorithms as well as reference measurements, and were found to yield promising results.
